Boulder Farmers' Market Today

Nice day for the Boulder Farmers' Market, but it's going to get hot, so you might want to get there early. Here's what they say will be available. Interesting that sweet corn is still listed as "coming soon." I was told at Munson Farm earlier in the week that they'd be in "full production" of their wonderful local corn by this weekend, so I'm heading to the stand at 75th and Valmont to check it out. From the Farmers' Market:

In Season Now

peaches, apricots, carrots, beets, potatoes, kale, Swiss chard, lettuce, fava beans, green beans, zucchini, yellow squash, snap peas, onions, garlic, spicy greens, arugula, spinach, mizuna, basil, thyme, lavender, mint, and chives. Fresh cut flowers include sunflowers, lilies, sweet peas, and Canterbury bells.

All season long: honey, bread, baked goods, eggs, beef, lamb, goat, pork, chicken, locally-made cheeses, preserves, mushrooms, and greenhouse tomatoes and cucumbers.

Coming soon: sweet corn and tomatoes
