King Salmon At Sprouts

When I was at the Sprouts store on Arapahoe yesterday, they had fresh wild king salmon fillets for $10.99 a pound! For king, not just sockeye. For comparison, king was $19.99 a pound yesterday at Whole Foods. I was shopping for a fish to put in yesterday's chowder, so I snapped up some of that king at Sprouts (never thought I'd be using such an exalted fish to merely chop up into a chowder). Since it got the humbling chowder treatment, I can't speak to how the fish would have been on its own, but it was a fresh and very handsome piece.
